ah livejournal, how i have neglected thee...you would think this was due to my doing things and work and fun and such...but no...
well, i say that, but the christmas hols was quite fun, lots of time spent doing nothing and i think i managed to see only three or four mornings out of it all...so not bad really...
got some random pretty clothages for christymas, including the corsety type thing i wanted from new look a while ago and yet couldnt find, clever pauline, didnt even tell her about it :)
went to see mikes family again and got random lush smellys from his aunt, which i was quite touched about, wasnt expecting at all...got to see thom and clare again, which was also nice, for i do miss them...also, thy went and got themselves engaged and all!! tis a loverly ring and they both seem so happy about it...pauline did the typical mum thing and cried, while all the other girls in the room went gooey over the ring...lol, very stereotypical reaction...
spent new years doing nothing, though we did rescue martin from a boring party with his rents, so it wasnt a total loss i guess...
bought myself two new cookbooks containing many many dessert recipes (in fact, there is nothing else) and so far have only made one of them, which doesnt seem right to me...more to follow i think...
back in the lincolnland now, which is cold as ever (stupid room) and very very windy...though less so than when i first got here...go 60mph winds across the humber bridge in the cab...we wouldve opened the windows to lessen the resistance a bit, but when we tried mikes glasses blew off!! joyous i must say
i have a new telly by default (the two sweetest words in the english language) as noj bought a posh new HD tv, so mike got his widescreen one, so i got mikes...now i have a video player and can read subtitles when sitting on my bed...yay!
have very very little money this semester so i shall be having fun trying to afford food (seriously, this is possibly the worst off i have ever been, and its all nationwides fault) so there will be little travelling about...though if people want to come visit me and spend the whole time sitting inside or doing random things that cost very little or no moneys then feeeeel freeeeeee, i shall enjoy the company :)
have got one assignment over and done with over the holiday which is due tomorrow, though should prolly read it through and try to shorten it some more, tis a little over (2350 when should be 2000) and handed one in today already...powerpoint presentation on cd no less...
first exam on wednesday...not bricking it at all...second on friday...not really very prepared, but should be ok (we get given double the amount of questions well be asked before hand to revise with)
only working to pass, so only need 40 (less infact, when taking into account the other scores from assignments and stuff)
but yes, now im back at uni be prepared to have random lj entries thrown at you
