simply impassable
well hello there people in lj land...how are we all doing? i have been neglecting you methinks...
so, what have i been doing...probably not an awful lot, but im sure ill think of something interesting ill say...or maybe not...
went to lincoln land last weekend after having a very frustrating friday...had a whole fiasco thing with getting paid which was highly irritating but at least mildly uinderstandable...i was meant to get paid on the 25th, but then because i quit they recalled the payment...wouldve thought theyd have fixed it in the two weeks that i had actually quit, but obviously not...so dawn had to phone the payroll and tell them off, but ended up paying me from the till "at her discretion" which i paid back when i actually got paid on tuesday morning...though on the plus side this was also roughly twice the amount that i was expecting...
but yes
more annoyances, turned up roughly ten minutes late to the house, after which time my new landlord, lovely though he is, had left and therefore no keys for me...had to ring adam and get him to come and meet me to let me in, then managed after a small trip round lincoln town centre in the cab to sort out meeting mike (of the landlord variety) and got the keys...
then after actually getting into the house i spent roughly two hours cleaning coz of the state the house was left in by tasha, the dog and her pets which have been moved into the front room...the understanding is that i will return to the house in the same condition i left it in else there will be hell to pay i tells ye
then had a graeme and his mates on saturday night which would have been more fun if i didnt feel so out of place with a bunch of guys who didnt really acknowledge that i was there, but never mind, they were nice really, i think the beer and drugs may have affected us all some what...lol
since then i have been aworking and having lots of fun tormenting people...they all make it so damn easy to tease them and make them jump i just cant help it...
also have a new phone which is highly amsing and makes interesting noises... BUT it rings, which is lovely...a plain ring ring, wonderful...also a very tiny pretty little thing which i wont be surprised if i loose, lol...never mind, hopefully i wont have as much trouble with this one a i have the last two...still the same number, btw, in case you were wondering though
for those who have skipped to the end this is possibly the only statement with a point to it, i now have a leaving date...shall be returning to the lincolnland on the 15th, which is a friday...may well possibly be meeting th emilou on the way, though we havent quite worked this out yet, but i shall see nadia on the saturday at least :)
need to have a meeting with people before i leave...am thinking of possibly going to the northampton place and going to a chinese buffet type restaurant called aroma, which was loverly last time we went...anyone up for it? helen and amy im looking at you...and robin, yes, you...
