Is being moral part of human nature?

This Philosophy essay is kinda hard. I've written 1,300 on why I don't think it is, and now I need to write 500 on why it is. Shouldn't be a problem, right? Well... I can't find any citations or references from Philosophers that think it -is- a part of human nature.

I have his book called the Republic on human nature with respect to human nature ( at least that's what I got out of it when I read it two years ago- gotta re read it ;) ) and he had some good points.

Give him a looksie into and he might help :)
