I don't think euphemism was the word you were looking for, but regardless, I didn't coin the phrase "looks good on paper" so I'm not going to defend it to it's death. I just think you're taking it far more literally than it was meant to be taken. It's a saying. When someone says they "feel like shit," they don't literally have the texture of feces; you have to read between the lines on that one, chief.

Yes, people do get killed, and the fire department doesn't always get there on time, but that isn't the point. That's similar to saying, "Since when I go to a restaurant, my order is wrong 10% of the time, I might as well not eat." That's silly, and I believe the majority of times the fire department, for example, does come through outweighs the times it does or can not. There are people out there that do care, such as police officers and the aforementioned firemen, people who get paid tremendously less than say actors or musicians doing jobs that have infinitely more risks involved. You're proposing a society where these people do not exist, and that's all good and great if we had no need for these people but that isn't the case. If we didn't need them, they would be out of jobs, the same way any government program would become exhausted once it outlives is necessity.

I just feel as though the major point you're missing is that Anarchy, being the absence of government, is what everything started from. Every form of government we have today - Communism, Hierarchies, Dictatorships, Fascism, Capitalism - all evolved from Anarchy. The first beings on this planet weren't born into any sort of government. The simple fact is if Anarchy worked, we'd still be doing it. I doubt you'll agree with the points I'm making, as being a part of the counter culture seems much more commendable, I would assume, than being a part of the mainstream. However If you truly believe that Anarchy would word, that you have some sort of intuition or foresight on the situations that generations upon generations have missed, then by all means pursue your dreams, and good luck with the revolution.
