Because I've been lurking around canon!gay comms for the past hour or so...I just thought I'd drop in and give a big YO.

Anyhoos...I'm a good way into the said game...GUH. It's beautiful. And whenever Roxas and Axel are in the same room together I roll in a big ball of happiness and possibly a bit of donut. I lost my donut. I should really look for that...
Quick little thing for all those interested in become professional slashers! (On request. Sorta.)
First off! Associate yourself with a large fandom based, if strange pairing. Ex: Snape/Harry.
Follow it religiously for a few weeks.
Call it your "blood"
Randomly insert it into causal conversation with fellow (and possible!)slashers. ("It gives a whole new meaning to 'teacher student relationship...I wonder if they do it on the desk. So, how'd you do on that mat test?")
Learn the lingo (Snarry, BSDM, PWP, NWS, OCCness.)
If you, unlike me, actually have talent...get your name out there! Make icons, write fanfiction, draw fanart, ETC. Get your name out into your fandom community.
After all that's good and done...you'll probably have lost interest in the original fandom. Understandable!
Now, find a super small fandom/pairing...and stalk it! Scream OTP whenever you see the two come within a five mile radius of the other.
Write, read, breath it.
Then....start all over! It's not an easy path we slashers choose, but (*walks off into the sunset*) someone's gotta do it.
