Hell yes!

So, I sort of feel bad updating today seeing as it's 9/11 and I have a bunch of "OMG GREAT WEEKEND" stuff to talk about, but at the same time, weekends like this don't come around very often and I can't keep it in.

Friday-School wasn't bad, just, school. We were supposed to have a game that night awat at Victory Christian but ended up not going to conserve the gas. We may not go to the one against Piedmont as well, we'll see. That really didn't matter though because Anna and I were not going to attend the game on account of we were going to a concert. Everyone else ended up going over to Jesalyn's. I was sad at first 'cause I would have rather missed a game, but then we actually got to the concert and I had absolutely no negative feelings at all. On the way to the concert we stopped at Harris Teeter and got Deli sandwiches...oh, my, goodness, totally addicted. These sandwiches are seriously Gods creation. Anyways, we get to my dads apartment and meet my brothers new girl, I think, and he tries to put a condom on mine and Anna's toes. What was he thinking?!?! Anna and I want babies. So we leave and my dad, Anna, and I walk to verizon. It's sort of tradition, and not that bad seeing as my dad only live around a mile away...if that much. Before we even go in we buy our T-shirts (another Tradition). The line was much shorter and we didn't have to worry about them being sold out of anything really. Both of the shirts are pimp as all. We go in and get our seats and listen to some Rilo Kiley (opening band). My dad goes to get a drink so Anna and I are sitting there talking and jamming. My dad comes back and then Anna and I have about 45 minutes between Rilo Kiley and Coldplay to go get drinks and all that good stuff. We try to find a Wendy's for Anna cause she's craving a frosty, so we plan to go ask this one girl. Instead we get roped into getting our pictures taken for free that we'll be able to look at later on the internet. We do it and also get free music downloads...hey, why not? End up finding out that Wendy's is on the other side of the Ampitheater and start on our way. We try and go one way and find out it's backstage. The door was open and we were so close. It was cool...at least to us. We make it around to the other side to find...no Wendy's, so Anna gets som Carvel swirl ice cream instead. We go back and sit down. I try to start some Sudoku in this Life magazine Marc gave Anna because of the Coldplay picture on the front. It's fun, my dad didn't get it. Anywys, Concert starts and it was A-friggin-mazing. Coldplay is just as good Live as they are recorded. I have fallen for their bass guitarist. Anna and I were yelling so much (which we paid for Saturday) and couldn't stop smililng. In the words of Chris Martin, it was the most "sonic, orgasmic experience" of my life. Then on the way home we screamed our lungs out even more to her Volume 2 mix and stopped by Jesalyn's (keep in mind it's almost 12). The only people left were Brad and Barbara and Alex (Jes's next door neighbor). Our plan was we were going to scare them, but that sort of got shut down when we pulled up her driveway and found them all sitting down next to her garage. So we talk to them for all of 10-15 minutes because everyone was getting ready to leave anyways and then go to Anna's so she can get her stuff. We go inside and while she's getting her things packed I almost fall asleep on her liveing room floor. We leave and get back to my house, after a short stop to the Dunkin' Donuts drive-thru where (for the second time) we scare the 3rd shift guys into thinking we're probably intoxciated off of some sort of drug/alcohol. Funny part is, this is the second time we've done this to these guys. Although, this time we sort of were like...half-high due to everysingle person sitting around us were either smoking menthol cigarettes or marijuana and we got light-headed from that and all the screaming. So...we get home and eat tell gramz about the concert (she's staying here cause my mom is out of town for the week), then get online and go to bed.

Saturday-Well, I guess you could say it wasn't really Saturday till we fell asleep, but whatever. Details. I wake up about 10:30 to find Anna already awake and watching television. I go take a shower and when I get out we decide we're hungry...so where do we go? Of course, Harris Teeter to get deli sandwiches. I told you, we're addicted. I strongly believe Spartan Grille is now going to be replaced with a grocery store. Hehe. Anyways, we come back to my house and eat and then Kevin shows up to pick me up. He eats his taco bell wihle I finish eating my Harris Teeter. We're all sitting there talking and then Anna's mom comes and picks her up. I say goodbye to her, the time I spent with her this weekend was so much fun, I had kind of wished she would have just come with us to Western, but I knew that was totally out of the question (no room in the van, and no ticket). So, then I check the time and see it was a little past 12:30. oops...I was supposed to be ready by 12:15-ish. I get my stuff and kevin and I leave. He's not in the best of moods, seeing as he had to work in the morning and his allergies were severely bothering him. We get to his house and he takes a shower while I chill on their couch watching the ghostbusters with his dad. He comes down in a much better mood (thank god...) and we hit the road. We pick up The Macmonagles (yes, chris and his mom and dad went with us!), and we were on the way to Western. The ride up there was weird. Alot of me getting made fun of, and then falling asleep on Kevin's lap. We did stop by McDonald's and I got a fudge Sundae...made everything better. We get to Western and my back is in pain. I feel like my spines released knives into the rest of my back. It sucked. But soon went away to an uncomfortable, soreness (that I can handle). We get seated and the band does pre-game. The game started and Western was playing Furman University (S.C.) which we were told ranked number one in division. The first half we get 3 interceptions and Furman doesn't even score. By half time the score is 27-0, Western. Halftime was great. the band performed and then we got to visit with Alex! and B. Hummel (which is who we really went for). Alex is such a pimp on cymbals. There show is "Flirtin' With Disaster" and it's a compilation of Sweet Home Alabama, Devil Went Down to Georgia, Trouble, and Freebird. I was sad that it wasn't finished. The music was great. The next half of the game was intense. Western pretty much thought they had it in the bag and it went straight to there heads. They choked and Furman ended up intercepting twice and getting 21 points. Of course, Western didn't prevent much of it. In factthere was one time where Furman was on the 50 and they had to incomplete plays, but that's okay Because after one, Western got unsportsmen-like conduct giving them 15 yards and after the second play Western got a personal foul giving them 15 more yards. Aw, isn't that nice. I did want to smack the guy next to us though. He was a Furman fan and he always had a smart-alec comment like "Does anyone know the Heimlec Manouver?" implying the Western was choking. I wanted to shoot him. He was fat and he smelled. Finally Western gets back in the game by fourth quarter and we score and then intercept the ball 15 yards away from our end-zone getting us another touchdown. Catamounts win 41-21. Yeah Buddy! After the game we get to watch post-game (which is the band again on the field performing the show only this time they're actually performing to us). By now it's freezing though and all I wanna do is get in the van and get warm. We meet up with B. Hummel so he can get some of his stuff out of the trunk and then we hit the road. It's about 10:30 and it hits me that I won't be getting home till about 1:30. I feel asleep several times on the way home. Kevin woke me up periodically so that my back wouldn't be in an akward position for a long period of time and I wouldn't have another episode of pain like the one I did before the game when we arrived at Western. How nice is he...:o)! Neither one of us are acutally comfortable and the poor kid couldn't fall asleep. Then, right after we get on I85, we stop for a short break (it's like....one) I wake up to this extreme, hxc bass. It's one of those so loud that I could feel my ear drums being all funky. I was pissed, it was not enjoyable. I then find out that this is the thrid Gas Station we stopped at because the first one had all the lights off, yet there were two girls inside and two guys in the parking lot throwing down. The second gas station didn't have any bathrooms. So we ended up here and Kev's dad said that the bass was so bad he could honest to god feel the door shaking when he went to open it and see the window panels shaking. Anyways, we get back on the road and pass that other gas station again with even more cars and...it was creepy. So, I stay up with Kevin for the rest of the ride home...I felt bad that he was having trouble sleeping. We talked for a little bit and then dropped Chris and his parents off. Then they take me home and Kevin walks me to the door and tells me he's not gonna call me and we would just talk tomorrow, which was sort of a downer but I understood. I tell gramz and shortened version of that and then go to bed, Kev ends up calling me anyways. I heart him.

Sunday-Nothing really, just homework and going over to Kev's soon.

If you made it through....I'm so sorry.
