Minho’s eyes were wide as he stared at the younger male, his mind struggling to catch up to the words said moments ago. What? Taemin wanted a kiss? From him? Since when?
“Are you really that clueless?” The red head murmured in faint amusement, a smirk pulling at his pink lips as his cinnamon eyes gleamed. “Really hyung?”
“You.” Minho frowned, one hand lifting to touch the corner of that sweetly sinful mouth. Idly he traced Taemin’s lips, eyes hooding when the maknae dared to flick his tongue out and teasingly brush Minho’s thumb with it. “You were trying to impress me.”
“I would have settled for distracting you, for being noticed by you… But yes, ‘impress’ was the goal.” Taemin agreed in a soft voice, shrugging slightly. In spite of the low tone, his words were sure and slightly bitter. “When we talk you treat me like any other dongsaeng, when I try to flirt with you then you ignore me, when I flirt with someone else you don’t seem to care. I really did wonder if you saw me, or if I was invisible beyond the persona of ‘that kid that Key likes so much’…”
“I always notice you.” Minho argued, brushing his thumb over Taemin’s lower lip yet again. “You’re always distracting; of course you’re more important than the other dongsaengs I talk to…”
Taemin shook his head, interrupting Minho’s reply as his shoulders wilted slightly. “All of that… And then Jessica asks you to a party and you go, without your friends… And it seems like a date.”
“A date?” Minho fought the urge to squawk. “Me and Jessica?!”
“That’s what it seemed like at school.” The younger male replied with a pointed look as he drifted back slightly. “I’m sure that’s the rumor…”
Minho rumbled a wordless disagreement, stepping after the retreating male and catching him before he could escape. Spinning them both, Minho pinned Taemin to the wall, one arm around his waist and the other braced over his shoulder. “I’ll fix that then.”
Taemin squeaked in surprise, hands clenched on fistfuls of Minho’s shirt though he was unsure how. His voice wavered when he spoke, half lost in the espresso colored eyes staring down at him. “H-h-hyung?”
Minho smirked at the suddenly-shocked maknae staring at him. “What? You were saying something about Jessica?”
Jessica? Taemin blinked blankly for a moment, scrambling to reorganize his thoughts. A dim memory of an annoying auburn-haired girl resurfaced, the name suddenly making sense once more. Oh, right, Jessica. It was her party… She had invited Minho…
“Isn’t… Isn’t she waiting for you?” His voice was less confident now, a questioning thread working into the tone as hope touched his eyes.
Minho laughed, leaning down to stroke Taemin’s full lower lip with a brush of his mouth. He immediately repeated the gesture with his tongue, a teasing flick of moist warmth. “Tae… Ask me if I care what Jessica is waiting for.”
Again Taemin squeaked, this time the sound more akin to a whimper as he shuddered. His panting breaths mingled with Minho’s rumbling sigh, mouth parting to taste the wind from the elder boy’s mouth. Minho seemed pleased by the tremble that worked through him, smirking and leaning forward to lick at his mouth again. Wordlessly Taemin arched into the caress, pressing closer without needing guidance from the arm around his waist.
“Go ahead, Tae, ask me.” Minho teased in a low croon, his arm tightening to drag the younger male even closer, lips brushing Taemin’s parted pair. “Ask me if I care about Jessica.”
Taemin panted, eyes drifting open as his hands slid up to grip Minho’s shoulders. The teasing smirk on the older boy’s mouth made him shiver, as did the tight press of their bodies, but he managed to whisper the required question. “Do you?”
“No way, baby… Just you. Since you moved here, you’ve been my new favorite thing.”

“Hey, hey!” Days later Key was griping at the couple tangled on the couch. When his words made no difference to them, he picked up a decorative pillow and hurled it across the room. “Hello you two!”
Minho hissed as the beaded and braided item smacked into the back of his head, jerking himself away from Taemin’s lips to glare at the older boy. “What the hell was that for?”
In Minho’s lap, Taemin made a sulky noise and followed it with a grumble, burrowing his face into the curl of his boyfriend’s shoulder and neck. Safely hidden he sighed over the sensitive skin and then smirked victoriously as Minho shuddered at the teasing caress.
“You ignoring me, for starters!” Key snapped back, waving an inclusive hand at them. “Now stop paying attention to only each other for a moment and tell me what the hell is going on. When did all of this happen? The last I heard Minho was at Jessica’s party, an then suddenly you two turn up and do this!”
“Maybe you could start with what led up to you two making out for the last half-hour?” Jonghyun chimed in as he glanced at his watch and then pointedly back to the couple. “You know, since inquiring minds are dying to know.”
“Call Noona and ask her.” Taemin muttered, threading his fingers back through Minho’s hair and pulling him down into another lengthy kiss. “I don’t have time to talk to you right now. And neither does Minho.”
“Ya!” Key barked. “Why not?”
“I have dibs on his mouth, hyung. Call Noona.” The maknae ordered, and then dragged his lips over his boyfriend’s. “Kissing you is my new favorite thing.”
Minho laughed, nipping at his maknae’s plump lower lip. “My sentiments exactly.”
Watching the two for a moment, Key grumbled and pulled his cell-phone out, resigning himself to the fact that if he wanted details he’d have to get them elsewhere. Firmly ignoring the couple making out across the room, he scrolled through his contact list. “Fine, I will.”
“Babe, that could be us.” Jonghyun purred, pouting when the lithe male flicked at his nose disapprovingly. “Key-baby!”
“Not right now, Jongie.” The diva replied in a crooning tone. “Key-baby is on the phone. YAH! Silver!”
“Hey, you’ve reached your favorite Noona! I’m out on a certain motorcycle with a sexy man. If I live through this latest experience, I’ll call ya! Leave me a message!”
“WHAT IN THE HELL DID YOU SAY THAT NOW HAS TAE AND MIN SUCKING FACE!? I NEED TO KNOW! Call me!” Key barked into his phone, holding the device an inch away from his mouth as he screeched into it. That part of the message delivered, his tone lowered to something closer to normal. “Oh, and we need to go shopping. Gucci just opened a new store in town and there is a dress that Jihoon would die to see you in. DIE, ok? Thus I need to buy it for you. Call me!”
Jonghyun eyed his boyfriend as the cellphone snapped shut and disappeared in Key’s pocket, the fey-featured male making a disgusted noise at the couple still happily entwined in each other. “Baby?”
“Hmmm?” Key murmured.
“It’s not right for our dongsaengs to be making out while you just sit there looking beautiful.” Jonghyun muttered, pulling the diva into his lap. “Come here.”
**
“No one important?” JiHoon murmured as he rolled over and pressed himself against his girlfriend’s back, watching her flip the smartphone over and ignore its beeping about a new message. "Or just not important right now?"
“Just Key, so not important right now.” Silver murmured, smiling as one of JiHoon's hands crept toward the hem of the over-large t-shirt she’d stolen out of his closet. “He probably wants to yell at me and then tell me where we’re going shopping next. I’ll listen to it later.”
“Later?” JiHoon smirked.
“Yeah, later.” Silver hummed. “Feel like distracting me?”
“Oh babe, don’t you know? Since we started dating that’s been my new favorite thing.”
