Snow Day!!!
Okay, now time for my weekly update.
Drew University offers a scholarship up to $10,000 for creative writing/theatre/etc. So I basicly have to send in a resume, an essay, and at least 10 pages of fiction/poetry. Well, I've got the stories just about done. All I need to do is look over them one final time and get someone else to read them over. (hint to anyone who feels bored) Now I need to figure out if they want it double spaced or not... In addition, there is a screenplay writing part of it, where you send in a script that is no more than thrity pages. I started working on one. Who knows if it will get done, but if it does, it does and thenmaybe it will be a little bit more money for Drew.
*cringes* I haven't looked over as much of the Author's Club stuff as I wanted to. Maybe about a quarter of it is edited. Fortuantely, I edited most of the stories when I edited the Drew stuff. Other than that, I am mainly trying to concintrate on one story at a time. Right now it is one called "Interviewing Immortality." I'm about four chapters in and hope that it will be ready to post on fictionpress.com by March.
Other than those things, not much is new. I'm off to help my Mom with stuff for a fundraiser she's doing.
