Question of the Day.

May 20, 2009 08:27

At what point does reckless war-profiteering, and support of
reckless war-profiteering become treason? Is it enough for
the activities to repeatedly and significantly threaten not
only missions but also the lives of soldiers and civilians?
Is there a set dollar value turn around or is it acceptable
for a private company to run a country dry on multiple no-bid
profit+ contracts? If a group of people believed that
success was assured, and the country's coffers bottomless,
does this belief make treason in this fashion impossible?
I openly state that I don't believe I can be impartial here.
I would very much like to hear your insights.
