I saw open heart surgery today. An aortic valve replacement, to be exact.
It was single-handedly the most amazing thing I have EVER seen. Which isn't saying much, but STILL. The patient was dead for two hours while we fixed his aorta. And then we brought him back to life! Simply amazing. I can't even describe it. I'm pumped and all I did was watch!
