Scowerdons break-ins
Police have been called out once again today to the Scowerdons estate to investigate multiple forced entries.
The estate is now largely made up of empty, boarded up houses awaiting demolition and is as such left vulnerable to this type of crime. Whilst the properties are mostly empty there is a concern about fires being set, potentially causing huge amounts of damage to the long rows of houses.
Local residents are asked to keep an eye out and advised to contact the police if they do see or hear anything suspicious.
