The wife of a father-of-four who was killed with a brick when he confronted a group of drunken youths near his home has described the moment he died.
The 24-year-old said: "He was just stood there, trying to calm them down, telling them to go home. The next thing (a youth) threw a brick at his head.
"He turned back round and looked at me. (The youth) picked another brick up and hit him on the back of the head with it. His head was pouring with blood and that's when he took his last few breaths."
Craig Wass's youngest children have laid flowers at the spot where he was attacked on Saturday.
His three-year-old son Callum asked an older relative: "When is daddy coming to get them?". She told the little boy: "He's not coming back, sweetie. He's up in the sky."
