(no subject)
I've been having an interesting holiday. I got to sleep in a lot which is good since I hardly ever sleep. I had a dream today about work but otherwise the work dreams have kind of subsided a bit.
I was incredibly stressed out the weeks following up to the holiday break. I badly needed a break and was rapidly burning out. I constantly had dreams about work and sometimes I would wake up in the middle of the night. This whole broken sleep-work dream business has been going on for a while actually. One night in November I woke up at 4 AM and couldn't fall asleep until I figured out a solution to the field trip problem.
I am still a bit stressed out about work and a two week vacation just isn't enough for me. I rather it go for three weeks so that I have more time to unwind and settle my nerves before I get back to work. I've been doing that slowly lately. Yesterday I worked on the culminating activity. The day before I worked on Macbeth Act 3 questions. There's just so much to do and so little time.
Christmas was interesting. I didn't do anything particularly eventful except spend some time with family. I got a three foot turtle! That was fun. :D (It's that one from Squishables.) I also finally got to play Harvest Moon on the Wii! This was something I've been wanting to do for months now.
Feeling kind of sleepy...but it's only 11:25 AM...
