(no subject)
I haven't written here in a while. I am alive and busy with work. My kids drive me insane but they are good kids. The grade nines are a bunch of sweeties when they are not a bunch of yahoos.
I wrote my first incident report two days ago. It was about a girl who showed up then left and never came back to class. I later found out she forged my signature on her skip sheet.
Luckily she rearranged her schedule so now we do not have to have the awkward conversation about how she is preparing herself for a career in illegal forgery.
A few days ago one of the Mac computers in the lab made this electrical crackling sound when I attempted to turn it back on. This was then followed by an electrical burning smell. Oops? Warranty probably expired too so we may be out of luck. This is getting pretty frustrating since these past two weeks have been nothing but trouble in the Mac lab. First my students can't log in, then we find out two computers are dead and 3 have no network access...then when the 3 got network access, my colleague and I realized they had replaced most of the computers with Photoshop Elements. Now a computer is fried and we do not have ImageReady on a lot of those computers.
Yay?
I also have 35 kids in my English class. That is too many.
I am back to not feeling well lately. Yesterday I was aching everywhere and I am very unmotivated and down for some reason. I am also always sleeping. Zzzz I say~
In other non-job related notes, I won at this round's Mafia! This one was a themed Mafia game so I was Lu Bu (Romance of the Three Kingdoms.) Anyhow my win condition kept changing throughout the game until it finally settled on the serial killer win condition which was kill everybody. So I did. And I was the last one standing.
Anyway bed time for me~
