Fajitas and such
Yesterday was a really good day. I went to my class field trip around Lake Alice on UF. We saw some baby gators and some very large soft shelled turtles that were way adorable! After the field trip I went to do my shopping; Wal-Mart, Dollar Store, Publix and Petsmart. I had to buy so much!!!!! I finally got Keoki his light for his taken and crickets. I also did much needed grocery shopping at Publix. I had to buy food for the week/month and the food I was going to make for Christina, Brandon, Travis and whoever else showed up. I decided to make steak and chicken fajitas. They came out so good!!! Everyone loved them which made me happy :) Travis helped in the ktichen, he is like a little kid. Brody came over just as we were going to eat, so that was nice. I had Travisi at the house, Christina and Brandon and myself. We stuffed ourselves silly. It was delicious! Then Travis helped me make brownies. The boys were like little kids licking spoons and bowls. When the brownies were done we had them with some yummy frozen yogurt (I have to keep my kids healthy) we ate ice cream and brownies while watching Rat Race. Soooo good! Food and good company is all you need :)
Tuesday I have my midterm for class. I am little nervous considering there are 50+ trees that I have to remember just in case they are on the midterm. I have notes to write for class and still have to finish the plant/animal collections that are pending. I am going to the beach on Saturday, John U. Lloyd Park off Sheridan in Miami, to hopefully finish off the rest of my collection. I get to see Rudy tomorrow, yeah!!! Chris is riding along with me to Miami, the poor baby needs some R&R as far away from Gainesville and Branford. A little Miami sun should cheer him up :D
Anyways, I'm gonna go. I have some stuff to do and I have to get ready for work. I have to go in early since the afternoon shift lead is on vacation. Hope everyone has a good weekend :)
