politics

so i voted yesterday.

apparently california voted down a bond to improve libraries and a tax on wealthy households to pay for more preschool funding.

dear poor people, the rich thank you for not voting.

thank god i didn't have to deal with picking out which democratic candidates to vote for (i'm registered green). in case you're from out of state, the two top democratic candidates for governor just ran a ridiculously negative campaign against eachother. now everyone in the state has just heard a bunch of really terrible stuff about the guy who won yesterday.

and meanwhile, our governor, is...Arnold...Schwarzeneggar!

jesus, couldn't you Dems just have picked a guy? pick a guy. other guys bow out. up-front guy runs against Schwarzeneggar and wins.

i don't know. maybe californians are so sick of arnold they'll vote any democrat back in. but i have a feeling the charismatic and shrewd arnold team is gonna keep bringing up those anti-environment and pro-corporate development charges that were brought up in the primaries over and over. even if they don't make any sense coming from arnold.

this election for governor is gonna suck and turn off more people to politics. hooray off-year elections.
