Cherry blossoms are growing monotonous.
Today, Sanji and I went out shopping for supplies and took a look around the island. It's admittedly quite nice, although I'm not sure what the fuss is about the trees. They are...trees. And they're all the same color. I thought the beauty of nature was meant to be in its variety. Sanji wouldn't shut up about them, though. Apparently there are roughly seven thousand recipes he knows that involves cherries.
Anyway. The day was not a loss, as we also discovered a pet shop where Sanji procured a kitten that he has named "Leopard-chan", evidently in an effort to annoy me. That aside, the good part of all this is that I have a gift for George. His name is Ilario and he looks like he's wearing a tuxedo made of fur, which I thought she might find amusing, considering the source.
