Vinegar hair rinses

So I've been reading up on ACV rinses and wondering if anyone had used the distilled white vinegar because it was readily available or because of what they might have read? I looked up people said about the two as well as seeing whether or not they have the same pH level. I've gotten consistent results on both things. Should I just use ACV to be safe or is vinegar just vinegar, distilled white or apple cider?
