"When the stars have all gone out, you'll still be burning so bright"

*cries* I was only at work for five hours today and it still sucked. Someone called in sick, which left us understaffed to cover the phones, so we were trying to do that AND the counter stuff. And then I was cashing up, but I couldn't start on time because there was only two of us to do the show, so I had to stay out front. Where, naturally, a school party had bought tickets for yesterday's show, and wanted me to honour them. *arghs*

Though I did go to the Oxfam bookshop and pick up some things. Including Brecht's Galileo. Not a big Brecht fan, but I'm interested and I like the story. Oh, and I caught up with my missed Entourage, and I love E more than a person should love a fictional person.

(Is it wrong that I've thought of something I want to request for next year's Yuletide? Also, I have said this before, but how has anyone finished ther story already?)

Now, melliyna made a "ten things you want for holidays wishlist", so I thought I'd do one too. Lists cheer me up :)
1. Podfic. Of mine, or your own, or someone else's (with permission). I really like podfic :) If it was mine, I would love you forever for ' Stars that Clear' or any of the Torchwood stuff, because my voice doesn't sound like Gwen's...
2. An Entourage wallpaper, or a Merlin one.
3. West Wing AU or crossover fic. *coaxes*
4. If anyone happens to have any duplicate Discworld novels around the place, all 'mine' were technically my Dad's. Or at least they needed to be together. So all I have are Thud and Nation. :(
5. Art for anything of mine. My photo-editing skills leave something to be desired.
6. A West Wing vid to 'Good Thing Going' or 'Old Friends' or 'It's a Hit' from 'Merrily We Roll Along'.
7. Or some help with software and getting started with vidding stuff. My Entourage vid calls to me.
8. A scarf. No, really, I love scarves.
9. Post with a foreign stamp.
10. Comic recs. Preferably something with a contained arc in a not stupidly expensive TPB. I would love a decent Wonder Woman story? Or something with good Batman/Superman. Or a good Titans story, for that matter. I like teams, but the team-stories are sometimes scary with their continuity requirements.

And if anyone would still like something from me, here is the post

real life: christmas, yuletide, fandom: why isn't there more..., real life: work sucks
