So, I'm having a good old-fashioned 'catch up with NaNo'/'watch the US election results come in' party. By which I mean it's me, David Dimbleby (on BBC), pilfered Diet Coke and Goldfish Crackers. (I'm CJ-ing all over the place)
I opened at work today, and then cashed-up at the end. Not a long day, because the theatre was dark, but I'm exhausted. I don't like being trusted with keys or money. Plus my throat is still sore, and now my sinuses are stuffed up too.
I've had the Guardian's site open for most of today, watching the polls and the stories come in. Plus I had someone else make a West Wing reference. When I said I was worried about all this confidence, he told me we should go outside, turn around three times and spit...
Oh - they have a counter now! With the electoral college, and 270 to win.
I may redo my Yuletide noms and request in a fandom I've wanted for a while but didn't think anyone would offer. Of course, there's always a possibility I know the offerer... Also, I'm bound to change my mind about what I'm offering if I do that.
