I'm messing around in delicious.com, trying to get my tags in some kind of workable order. It's a very Sunday activity. Why is there not some fannish convention for how to tag things? (Or is there and have I just missed it?) I know I was a relatively late adopter, but I really like being able to organise

That would be why I haven't bothered with delicious yet and why I was *so* infatuated with Library Thing - it was so extremely easy to use and easy to tailor to the obsessive personality. ;)

And also because I find delicious ... depressing? Mostly because I only ever go there when I'm depressed about feedback and want an ego boost. I'm a bad person ... And now they've redesigned it and it's all fugly. Meh.

On the Dr. Horrible - how late were you up last night? *g* Because I was obsessively refreshing the Battle post and not expecting to see anyone I knew but, no. ;) I didn't go to bed until six this morning and only had two out of three orgasms to show for it. Sigh.

See, I do love delicious, but I keep being tempted to overhaul my whole system. Like: I don't list length, unless it's superlong and I tag it as such, and I'm only now putting ratings in. I use fullstops instead of spaces in character names, but other people do different things. I just feel like it should be easier to find other people's recs, at least by pairing! But everybody does it differently... But I do love it, really. It lets me tag all my academic/musical/filmstar AUs all together!

(But yes, I do use it to keep track of which of my own things other people like...)

I was up pretty late last night. I didn't mean to be, but the writing got away from me, and I put on Die Hard 4 in the background, and then I wasn't tired anymore. Of course, now my sleep patterns are very messed up :| Your 2/3 orgasms beats my efforts last night though ;)

i just started using delicious and i've been hyphenating everything. just like i have to do on goodreads. my ocd brain and my laziness when it comes to typing does not like these systems at all.
