My life gets so boring when there's no school/work. I should be writing like a maniac and yet, instead, memes. And disturbed sleep patterns. I could just blame hormones for all of this actually. Ok. Have written some of it, remembered why I don't do fanfic writing (characterisation seems not to exist in my world) and will finish it tonight and post it and then possibly curl up and hide :p

I'm not sure how much of the rest was in character, but... s'long as you liked it. What did you think to the rest (and how much did I break the actual construction of the Hub?)

I just couldn't see Ianto joining them in the panicking and "We must be heroes, and swim, and stop the lockdown! Yes! Action!" thing, and figured he'd probably be elsewhere being intensely sensible and sorting it.... bless. So unappreciated by the rest of them.

I do think Owen has a nicer side than he got in this one, in a way, but still. I just pictured him with that faint, hiding-the-"itwasn'tmedon'tblameme"-feeling face he has sometimes *g*

And you're right. Torchwood should so have a Jack-in-a-lake scene....
