*G* I think the world would be a better place with more crossovers. Jack (and the Doctor) are great for that, but it's a little harder to work non time-travelling fandoms into the Firefly-verse. Then, Stargate has canonical time-travel, I've done Stargate-WestWing cross, I can get DC politicans into space!

Hmm... prompts... I'd really love some Dresden Files actually, but I don't know what you like in it? Harry-ish love would be great. With fairies, and spells gone awry.

There should be more cliche fics! Because there is so much opportunity for new and interesting cliches among the alien menace. I think Owen is most fun when he's just being annoying...and not sort of 'trying to end the world Owen!'

If I wasn't dead from my last ficathon, I would run a Torchwood cliche one. We have canon timetravel, parallel universes, telepathy-machines, amnesia pills... And yet (unless it is all happening in the Jack/Ianto fics) I see far less cliche awesomeness than one would expect.

And yes, we are entirely agreed on Owen. Poor boy, he gets less love than he deserves.

A torchwood cliche-thon would be awesome. I made a list of the main cliches in any fandom a while back (I think I got to 18.) But with Torchwood you get all the cliches that only seem to apply to sci-fi (such as 'aliens made them do it' 'bodyswap' and 'time loop' and so forth) putting it up to something like thirty or forty and it's true you don't see half as many as you'd think...even in the Jack/Ianto that I've noticed! Is bizarre?

He doesn't get enough love, even though I think sometimes he comes across as more real than all of them.
