~ I got linked on metafandom. This along with a rec on crack_van a few weeks back is evidence of how easily startled I am by the fact that I exist in the eyes of people not on my flist. Clearly I either need to write more, or meta more. Of course, I've never written TWW meta, and that was all I had to say about Torchwood, so that's no good...
~ Oscar Noms: Award shows being one of my guilty pleasures, I'm annoyed that this will only be on Sky One here, which I do not get in my room. I suppose I could try for the JCR Tv, but that's not a fun place to relax by yourself.
~ Ethics tutorial tomorrow: Is it possible to argue that "we should be moral" without appealing to morality?. Short answer no with a maybe, long answer yes with a but. I both love and hate this subject.
~ It snowed last night! I think - it was 2am and I was only awake because there was a lot of noise outside and I couldn't sleep. It was gone this morning though :-(
~ I found this in TWW part of my ideas document. I have no idea what I thought it was, anyone any clues? Did anyone ask for a paragraph of Sam-swooning?
Sam smiled a lot, goofy ones with rows of white teeth, a half-second from laughter; and the tiny little head-down ones he made when something amused him in otherwise serious meetings. Toby’s favourite, though, was the closed mouth smile, normally bestowed from above, Toby sitting down and Sam standing in a doorway, like he was about to leave. Had stopped to smile like he loved you first.
My AU thoughts are getting crackier. Second row down. How cool/cracked would it be? Toby&Sam are clearly pitcher and catcher (I wanted to phrase that in some way that wouldn't sound sexual, but there was no helping it) because of the partnership/unspoken bond and signals type thing. Josh is obviously the shortstop, for that is the glamour position. *g* My problem, of course, is that girls don't play baseball, which hampers my casting. It could be softball I suppose, but I know the rules of baseball, and too much additional research for this would push me over the edge into certifiable...
Also - does anyone have any very-young pictures of Richard Schiff or Bradley Whitford? Unsurprisingly, I am sorted on the Rob Lowe front. I found this of Brad when he was at Julliard, but I have nothing on RS. Mostly, I suspect, because he wasn't acting then? I'm not being creepy, I do have a semi-legitimate reason for this!
On the not-crazy AU front: Toby&Andy not getting divorced; Sam pines. But I can't write unhappy things, so that's a problem.
And I wrote some more of the Stargate crossover.
*Okay guys, if I do run this AU thing, if I open it next week, will some of you actually sign up? Because this is gonna be way too much stress as it is without people leaving me person-less*
