Fic, fic, fic... I do love finally posting something. Not that I've been writing that one for a long time, but I haven't had anything finished in a while. And I wanted to be done with that days ago, and wasn't. As Em gently pointed out, and she is owed much thanks for that, because it's far better now. Given that yesterday I could actually write, and so the finished draft of the fic is probably 600 words longer than the one she saw, and infinitely more polished.
On that note, I didn't start writing that one actually - last night was one of those lovely "words coming to my fingers" nights. So I have 1,800 words of the mini-fic done, though it may not bear much relation to the request, so someone'll have to take a look for me and check! Plus, I got another scene for Westward Look, for which I am now, not nearly done, but at the point where I can see an end. What I'll do when I finally post that one is beyond me.
Today's pretend task, ie the one that isn't applications, washing, Christmas decorating, or writing, is creating a thematic list of my fics. So I can see all the fics that are "Santos loses reelection" or "Here Today remixes", or just all the pairings. It's not the most exciting task in the world, but it's kinda fun seeing all the drabbles with a theme alongside the big fics they came from, or that came from them. It'll be even more fun when I write the TV AU fic...
Eeep, almost forgot - if you have not seen the latest S60, watch it immediately. I love Matt, Danny, Jordan, Jack, Lucy, Tom, Darius, Simon... Fine, yes, Harriet too! It's just an amazing Christmas episode, and if it doesn't stop the people complaining, then they're all nuts.
Also - it's nearly Christmas! I'm hopefully finishing my shopping tomorrow, and sending out some parcels. Though not the cards, because I'm not done with those yet! And seriously, does anyone else want a drabble-card? I don't care if you live in Outer Mongolia, I'll pay the postage. I like sending things - it's good karma :-)
