And for something completely different. I think I may be a little later than usual this year but:
would anyone like a holiday card?
As ever, international mail is not only fine but encouraged. It's fine if we haven't spoken recently or ever - receiving post makes me happy so sending it makes me feel like perhaps someone else will be happy :)
Guidelines:
- I'm screening comments on this entry but do feel free to PM me your address if that's more comfortable. And leave me a name that'll get the card to you.
- let me know if you'd rather a more generic holiday card, or which holiday you celebrate. I can also do completely non holiday-specific cards (probably kitties) if you'd prefer.
- leave me a prompt for a drabble! Any fandom I know is fine, and I'll do my best with your pairing/character. Crossovers are also fun. But I made a rule last year that it couldn't be anything longer than I can fit in one card, or else nothing gets to recipients by the end of December. Oh, and snippets from a universe of mine are also fine to request.
- my own holiday, in a lapsed agnostic kind of way, is Christmas, so if you want a Christmas drabble I can manage that. I will try with any other holiday but I can't promise I won't manage to mangle something. I will try though.

My own Christmas List
1. Books/recs of books by POC authors. You guys know what I like: sff, strong women, queer themes, world-building, sense of place, bio-families, found-families, fun with narrative voice, fun with plot. Not so much military history or harlequin-type romance. But willing to be persuaded that something you like is something I will like.
2. Avatar the Last Airbender fic. Preferably with Zuko and Aang/Katara/Sokka/Toph. Friendship fic! UST-ness if that floats your boat. But oh I love Avatar so. (By then I will hopefully have got hold of book 3)
3. On which note. The R1 features on Avatar Books 1 and 2? I promise I have the series DVDs but we have no features. Also everything on the first disc of Dark Angel S1 as mine doesn't work. I can prove that I own it with photographic evidence if you want!
4. Woollen things. Scarves and hats (and gloves) and sweaters.
5. Comic recs of self-contained TPBs. Wonder Woman if you've got em. Otherwise other women of awesome. Or team books.
6. A West Wing vid to any of the songs from 'Merrily We Roll Along' or 'Mack and Mabel'
7. Recs of PS3 games as I have just bought myself one ;) Either on the store or physical ones.
8. Gossip Girl AU fic. Chuck/Dan or Chuck/Dan/Blair by preference. Also Rymon AU but I suspect that may be pushing it...
9. Podfic. Mine or someone else's. I'd love a long Star Trek fic - these must exist but does anyone have recs? Kirk/Spock or gen preferably, though I can be sold on Kirk/McCoy or Kirk/Spock/Uhura(/McCoy).
10. Children's fantasy (book or film) that I haven't read and you think I should.
