Give me three good reasons to go to work the rest of this week and not-

Physical imperfections I don't know what I'd do with, and 'What do you mean we're related?' doesn't really appeal, but other than that? Legitimisation for a High School AU y'all... Right now my problem is that (with the exception of the high school one) I really just wanna write Star Trek. Which, let's face it, lends itself to the cliches.

I was also thinking about sequels to 'Taking the slower path', and I maybe kind of want one. But it would have to be two, because Part 2 (Empire, if you will) has to be the one where things get screwed up. And everyone fights, and Kirk/Spock get together and fall apart. I think, and this is the almost written part, Spock cheats (for logical Vulcan species-propogating reasons) and they break up and everyone assumes it's Kirk's fault cause reputation and all that and eventually he snaps and yells at folks cause he's the one who got his heart broke dammit.

And then Part 3 (Jedi, perhaps even with Ewoks) for the happy ending. But 2 will be better and have the hotter sex. Probably.

Anyway. If anyone wants to throw ideas/fandoms at me for the cliches, go wild. I make no promises, but I do love a good suggestion. (And a good cliche, obviously).

writing: ideas, star trek
