i would like to stress that before applying, you must read the rules. they are simple and easy to follow, and if you follow them, i will not want to smash your face in. unfortunately, some people have completely disregarded the rules and other thoughts i have in [brackets] on the application. some of you followed the rules. some of you didn't. i would like you to review them. thoroughly. please.
from now on, anyone who doesn't follow the rules exactly will gain an immediate rejection and will have his or her application deleted.

if you're still here, and still alive, COMMENT ON THIS POST. and if you want to stay, you need to promote.
your assignment, if you choose to accept it: post in one place. it could be in your own personal lj [the easy way out], or you could [like i do], crash another rating community's party. this is fun. join a rating community that you've never joined and don't want to join, and instead of filling out their application, just make a post that says "join black_duct_tape". most communities want stamped members to put "stamped" in the subject lines of their posts, so do that to trick them long enough to leave it up. it will cause controversy. people will join.
another less intrusive way is to just go to the most recent post of a rating community and leave "join black_duct_tape" in the comments. people will get pissed. but because people are pissed, they are looking at your comment or post that says to join. it gets publicity. yay!
ps. still comment here. i want to know if you're alive [i know i do this a lot, but it's kind of hard to get everyone's attention].
