addictive

Now, would we do something like that to Wilson?

Uh ... don't answer that.

I don't know about the drug but this story is addictive. I don't usually read multi-chapter fics since they have bad habit end with a lame cliffhanger but this is totally another story. Half of time I don't know what's going on and other half I spend turning myself to nervous wreck by reading sentences one by one instead of skipping everything and just spoil myself. My fingernails are so not going to like this.

Thank you! We try to get our readers thoroughly hooked; nice to know it's working.

It helps a lot that there are four of us working on this story. When one of us gets stuck, another one is always there to help. None of us could do this on our own.

There'll be more on Monday. :-)

Oh dear. He still hasn't told him the whole truth? I don't know why I'm surprised, seeing as it's House...*sigh*

I'm currently trying to figure out if Wilson was the murder target or not...when he worked on his home planet he probably made a few enemies, what with the story he told...from that you could assume that he would do what was best for the patient, regardless of the family and friends' (perhaps even the patient's?) wishes. You could make a heck of a lot of enemies that way, right?

the stress of the whole situation apparently becoming too much for his poor vulgaris brain --- Heh! I love the sub-speciesism of House in this fic.

And poor Wilson. Definitely not his week. Can he afford to keep siphoning off pints of his own blood like this?!

Am keen to find out House's secrets . . . update on Monday? *is hopeful*

siphoning off pints

Well, House has already made clear that the blood is more of a ... necessary supplement, than a sole source of nutrition. So perhaps he doesn't take as much as you (or Wilson) might think.

We have addressed that question, though. Just not yet in the story. :-) Hopefully we'll update on Monday, if Real Life cooperates for us.

*claps hands in glee* Oh, more great stuff! I do rather love it that House is working out the future implications of the "biological roulette" he's been forced into playing.

And, despite the dire situation and the new!bad thing Wilson has just figured out, this has some amazingly funny lines in it. I loved House saying, "Definitely. Lack of pretense is one of the few things I have in my favor."

House is not exactly happy about the prospect of ... those "implications", as you put it. Heh.

And Wilson, well ...

Glad you're enjoying House's wit. These guys both have that quality in canon, although freakedout!Wilson does seem to lose his sense of humor temporarily. Poor guy, he's got so many reasons to be freaked out here, and it's only going to ... I think I'll hush up now.
