You have made a wise choice. I know our tastes in films aren't totally right-on all the time, but I think we'd both agree on the Stink-ee Factor here, as it's enough to gag a maggot. But, if you have the time and money to spare and actually like watching bad movies (it was entertaining, I laughed a lot) - have at it.

As for Bubba, you'll love it! I nearly peed my pants with delight! Despite being a totally far-fetched Elvis/Horror movie, it's one of those "feel good" films as well. Ossie Davis is adoreable.

You hate the Theatre Experience? Really?

I guess I get that though. I'm very particular in the way in which I go to movies. I always go to empty showings and try to go opening day if it's something important. I miss being a projectionist--I had the theatre all to myself! I was SPOILED.

Afraid of the Dark?

One of my friends (mikeatchley to be exact) is actually totally creeped out by the idea of sitting in a big dark room with strangers. There are two major points of irony here:

1. He's the big macho lead singer of the local industrial/goth band "Caustic Soul"

2. He's my *only* friend here who looks horror movies--but is afraid to see them with others!

You just don't go to enough movies with ME! While I'm pretty much a mild-mannered reporter by day, come movie night I'm a Wanton Control Hussy! I dumped a box of popcorn on a d00d behind me once because he wouldn't shut up. He yipped at me, so I threatened to follow up by tossing my Pepsi in his lap.
