[ CHARACTER INFORMATION ]

Name: Prince [<-- in-game name. RL name is Feng Lan]
Age: 20
Gender: Male [<--in-game, RL, Feng Lan is a female]
Fandom: 1/2 Prince
Timeline: Volume 8 [which at the latest, is Chapter 46], where Prince has already unified all the cities in the Central continent, and is about to meet the lords of the other continents [East, South, and West, since the lord of the North is currently missing].

History: Link to a 1/2 Prince Wikia page on Prince [For Prince only. Otherwise, the gist of things is that Feng Lan {last, first} is a girl from the year 2100 A.D. that starts to play a game called "Second life," and since she is the first person ever to log in to the game when it's supposed to start, the game creators and higher-ups grant her wish to have a male avatar instead of a female one, because she bet her twin brother that she could do better than him, despite the setbacks of having a hard time leveling-up just because she'd have a male avatar, and be a better warrior than him. Over time, she gains a reputation in Second Life as "The Blood Elf," among other titles.]

Character Personality:

I know that the Wikia link pretty much only states that he's geeky, rebellious, and vulgar. True, those are some of his main traits, but he also has a whole lot more under the surface. Yes, he's a geek, and he's quite the derp when it comes to acting around his friends, but that's because he feels like he can afford to do so, not to mention that he's also comfortable enough around the people that he trusts in order to act like his normal self. He would do most anything for his friends, even if his friends have tried to attempt to kill him, so he can be quite forgiving toward them. He would step into the line of fire and take a bullet for his friends if it meant that he could protect them, despite him probably taking on damage, and he would do his damnedest to save a friend from someone and charge into a situation, despite the kidnapper being someone stronger than him. He can be a little brash for his own good, again - charging into a situation recklessly, but as long as it's for the sake of a friend, he will do it. He also has a small thing for calling people older than him "older brother" or "Older sister" more out of respect for those people, though at times, it's also out of association by someone whom he respects, though also cares about. He also has a sense of justice and fair play, as shown during the tournament melee, when he went to rescue both Nan Gong Zui and Fan, asked his group's priest to heal them, so that they both could have a fair battle, one on one.

Despite being a bit of a derp, he has actually shown to be an effective team leader with his own team, becoming the face that represented them all, as the cool, calm, collected individual that would go into a match with a cold smile, only really coming alive with a broader smile when he fought methodically against other teams, coming up with strategies on the spot. Though there's one little quirk about Prince that should be known - he actually has a penchant for being very cold, ruthless, and violent in the kills of the people that annoy him, loving it as his opponent's blood sprays on him as he cuts through them with his sword, all with a smile. So yes, he can be quite sadistic, even in public, though again, it would have to be under certain conditions that he otherwise wouldn't do so.

On the flip side of him being a happy, smiling derp who'd do anything for his friends, is the side of him that is not too nice with the people that get on his bad side. He would start off trying to be a good guy, though he does have a short enough of a fuse to try to get even with someone - first by just acting cold toward the person he dislikes. Second, would be him giving them the cold shoulder, and if they insist, then he would exchange harsh words, and finally, just beat the crap out of them because they're really, really asking for it. Be it because they attacked him, or they dared to attack someone that he cares for a lot [like his team members], lest they incur his wrath, and suffer a bloody death [as stated in the paragraph above].

Up until now, I have been using the "he" pronoun, which is more of how Prince is perceived among many other players, except a few that actually know that Prince is in fact Feng Lan, and have deduced the fact through different means. She knows that carrying on a male avatar in the game carries some risk, even more so for her not wanting anyone to find out whom she really is in the game, and just naturally assumes the personality she created for "Prince" quite well. There are instances where girls that she has come to know as "Prince" have come to fall in love with him... her... see, this is why the use of the male pronoun is mainly used to refer to "Prince" is better than referring to Prince by the pronoun of the person that actually plays him. The main point that I wanted to show however, was the fact that she recognizes the fact that the girls that fell in love with "Prince" are rather doomed to have their hearts broken because she can't really reciprocate their feelings [though she is quite willing to kiss them, even if it's a french kiss. But as far as a relationship goes - not really].

Feng Lan herself, her personality as herself, and not as Prince [is a little difficult, as she acts as herself a lot when playing as Prince, though the bravado and the whole "blood elf" cool demeanor and façade IS something that is unique to Prince], is that she can be said to be fickle at times. She knows that there are two people in her life that care for her, and despite knowing that, she can't bring to have herself decide between both the guys that like her. Granted, one of them doesn't know her identity at all, but she does know his identity. She still doesn't know what to do, despite knowing that both of them like her [Or in Gui's case, Prince, but that's STILL her].

While she is intelligent in most aspects, Feng Lan sometimes is rather dense in certain areas. Most of it is in the area of romance, because one guy [Zhuo Ling Bin, a.k.a. "Wicked" in the game] that she knew for the longest time fell in love with her. He had to move away, but found out that she was going to the same university that he was attending, and found the nerve to follow her home to catch up on old times. He had been holding a flame for her for seven years. Even after being told by him that he would prefer to be with her than with her twin brother [sitting next to each other], she didn't get it. She actually even thought that her brother [Yang Ming] and Zhuo Ling Bin were an item. It took her parents telling her that Zhuo Ling Bin had romantic feelings for her for years before she got the message, because yes, it was obvious for OTHER people about how Zhuo felt about her, but she herself was rather ignorant of those feelings.

Another area where she seems to have difficulties are map-reading, and how to get around somewhere she doesn't know. Sometimes even after going to that certain place and getting to know it, she might still need help from others in order to have a good grasp on where she is relative to another place. At least for this, she recognizes that if it weren't for other people being around her, she would really get lost, and thus appreciates their presence because they have a better sense of direction than she does.

She does care about her friends, and she she would like to have them on an equal footing instead of having them put her on a pedestal, because she doesn't feel like she's really any different than her friends, and would rather have fun times together, just act the way they usually do, and be silly around each other instead of having to have a big sort of responsibility thrust upon her that would change the dynamic in the relationship. Yes, I'm pulling that from one of the last arc in volume 7, but this is also shown through some backstory of her in another game where she was talking lightly about the responsibilities of a ruler [which she is, as Prince - the ruler of Infinite City, and in volume 8, the Lord of all of Central Continent]. In volume 7, she was taking things out on people in a manner that was very much all her own, since she drank a LOT in the Infinite City bar and dealt with different friends [Kenshin, Arctic fox, and even cried when Wicked and Guileastes fought because of "Prince"], and ran off along with Doll into the Nymph forest so that she could be alone and think about how her role has dramatically changed everything. In the end of the arc, she gave out the order that everyone should call her characters just "Prince," with no more of her friends calling her "lord" or anything from then onward.

Now that I have spoken about Feng Lan as herself, and how her personality actually does shine through her avatar "Prince," I will leave the rest of the application as I had entered it before, though I will keep in mind that there are places in the RP where I can and [if accepted] will insert some parts in thoughts or actions that will use the pronoun "she" to have it be clear to the other players that yes, this character is rather unique for her particular situation.

Character Abilities: This includes your characters special abilities, such as powers or supernatural skills, as well as normal ones. Martial arts, above average intelligence, problem-solving - anything that you feel is relevant. One to two in depth and well written paragraphs are a minimum.

These are a couple of Prince's canon abilities with his sword:

-Inferno Slash: With this move, he is able to create a flame around his sword, which causes an explosion when it comes in contact with his opponent. The downside to this is that it does tend to drain a large amount of his mana points.

-Nine-headed Dragon Slash (Jiutou-Loung Slash): This move basically allows him to make nine slashes happen at the same time, hitting all of the nine vital points of his opponent instantly.

-Savage Blade: This move allows him to strike his opponent with multiple blows at the same time, a multi-slash attack that can go on continuously for a while, if you will.

-Requiem of the Blazing Inferno: With a gem that powers up flame-type weapons [Prince's Black Sabre], he is able to strike a target with enough force, which causes the sword to expel large, pure white flames that cause an explosion with so much force, it breaks the target into thousands of little pieces [This was used in chapter 45 of Volume 8]

Another thing that should be included among the abilities that Prince has, is the fact that he has earned a lot of agility/speed throughout his whole time in Second Life - which would technically count as part of his physical attributes, though he is not as fast as others [thieves tend to have the highest speed], but is faster than most others, able to dodge and evade others' attacks if he's quick enough to react to them, which is usually the case, but not all the time as he has been seen to be injured in some surprise attacks, and would never usually come out of a fight as fresh as he went in - he would get some scratches and some bruising, which is only natural in a fight. This also comes into play with some of the skill sets that he's learned as he's leveled up.

Prince also has a very, very incredibly high Luck, that he can pretty much do stuff that is perceived as completely and utterly impossible, and yet, Prince manages to do it. For example, he was able to take in two human pets in Second life, but that was because of his luck in actually finding out about it at first [something triggered the event], and then to get his second human pet, he did it by playing games of chance whose chances of winning was pretty much impossible for any other player to do, yet Prince somehow did all of that [guessing the ingredients of 20 different dishes, playing "big or small" ten times in a row, where three dice are rolled and you bet on the outcome of the throw, etc.].

Character Weaknesses:

The main thing - PRINCE CANNOT, FOR THE LIFE OF HIM, GET AROUND ANYWHERE ALONE IN SECOND LIFE BECAUSE HE WOULD GET LOST, QUICKLY. Really, if he were alone, he would get himself really, really, really, REALLY lost. Not even now that he is the overlord of his own continent, does he know how to get around it. He actually stumbled upon Moon City to meet up with his ally, Nan Gong Zui, purely by accident, because at first he didn't even know in which direction it was that he was supposed to be going.

Also a weakness is the fact that Prince, while the avatar itself is a male, the one playing him is actually a female. She can't really divulge the fact that she is who she is. She has accidentally let it be known to one player [Wicked], and others that are close to her actually know who she is [her mother, father, brother, her friends Wen Yun, and Lu Jing, and to some extent, Lolidragon {though she doesn't know whom she personally is}]. Otherwise, everyone thinks she's a male, and there HAVE been circumstances that have put her in a tough spot due to this [having a nose bleed while having to go to the men's baths, stuff like that].

[ MEISTER ONLY SECTION ]

Why your character should be a Meister:

He's quite aggressive, too independent, and trying to prove himself capable of leading not only his small team [the Odd Squad], but now he has to deal with leading his alliance, his own city, as well as the newly conquered Sun, Moon, and Star cities. In effect, he's currently dealing with the fact that he [and his people] have basically unified the whole entire Central Continent, and is now its lone Overlord. While it's true that he's in a position of power, he would still really like to fight his own battles, using his own weapon [his "Black Sabre"] as his main way to attack. He loves fighting, pure and simple, and would in no way like to be manhandled by anyone else, and would rather kill them in the most horrible way than let them get in his way.

That, and in some chapters, Prince can be seen to have a special fondness for his own sword, which is a rather rare one that can actually level up along with him, which if it leveled up high enough, it was said to be [in volume 1] able to become a godly weapon. He actually even speaks to it occasionally, and on the one time when he needed to actually level up by defeating a boss monster [the Serpent King], he spoke to it saying, "It's been a while since you've tasted blood, old friend. Now drink your fill!" So he's really one to expertly handle weapons with respect, and not really be a weapon himself.

Meister Ability:

- Soul Luck

[ SOUL INFORMATION ]

Soul Description: Describe your character's soul in six adjectives. For example, are they predominantly brave, strong, independent, cruel? List them in order of relevance.

I would say that Prince is: Independent, Caring, Strong, Brave, Sadistic, and Kind.

Soul Appearance:

A light silvery colored ball, with small whisps that stand in for his hair, along with a small hint of his tiara that he always wears, with a smile on the soul's face.

[ NOTES ]

For the purposes of this game, Feng Lan will be trapped inside the "body" of her Avatar, Prince, but still basically be herself on the inside. Though she will have had some experience adjusting to a "male body,"  she will also have to get more used to the fact that she can't "log out" and be her normal self, and will basically have to live life in Death City as a male.

I have added in a longer personality section explaining a bit more through Feng Lan, as well as changing the first person sample a bit to reflect what I hope to do in the RP. It might be a little bit confusing at first, but hopefully people will get to understand Feng Lan/Prince's situation quickly enough.
