The email basically broke my heart. I agree, she is the best professor I have at Hollins. She has also enriched my life immensely, and she pushes me like no one I've ever known. She knows my strengths and she pushes them to the limits. She doesn't take no for an answer and she doesn't accept cop-outs.
I am incredibly disappointed, and next semester I will be dedicating a considerable amount of time to figure this shit out. I don't know if we can do anything to help, after all "we're only students" but hell if I am not going to try. I have heard of ONE psychology student who dislikes her, and the others who don't - it is because THEY DON'T TRY. Jacobi only pisses of those who are not dedicatd to the science. FUCK. I don't know what I would do without her. If I had a lot of money I would totally dedicate it IN HER MOTHER FUCKIN' NAME.
and just so they know. I like crude language, she makes us all laugh and if students can't handle it they should speak to her directly. I HIGHLY doubt she would not make an effort to stop if it was offending someone.
