Yo Yo Yo!!!...I'm back...in case y'all didn't know I went to NH Wed-Sunday for SOUL FEST. It's this 5 day Christian event with 5 stages over 100 artists, workshops and an overall good experience with other Christians....This won't be that interesting, but if you wanna, read on my friends, read on...
IT WAS INCREDIBLE. Went up on Wed to Franconia Notch and met up with Jeff...met his ma dukes, went kayaking for the first time then headed on down to Gunstock for the night. First night was aight...we saw Toby Mac (from dcTalk), a little of someone else...and Third Day. They were definitely the highlight of the night...I love AND hate when artists make you think, like just sit there and open up your heart and mind...it's awesome how God will speak to you.
Thursday was cool too, went hiking, kinda, when the Old Man used to be...then headed back down to Gunstock. That night the highlight was Michael W. Smith. MAN that guy can get people to praise God. AMAZING.
Friday we cleaned up a little at the resort and dropped our stuff off at the campsite then went to the festival. Mainly played volleyball all day, got kinda burnt. Anna met us around 5, we went out to grab some food then went back and saw Rebecca St. James and a little of Jars of Clay. We left kinda early, so that we could set up the campsite before midnight, so people wouldn't be too mad at us.
Saturday we drove like 45 min out of the way for Anna to go home so we could go to the Dunkies Jeff's "girlfriend" works at and get some coffee...then we went to the lakeside and chilled. Anna said she wanted to go in and I gave into the peer pressure and was the first to slide off the dock and into the water...then they both decided they weren't following. Anna eventually went in, and Jeff's just lucky he was wearing sneakers..Anna departed for home, and us back to Gunstock. More volleyball, (and football for Jeff) Went to a workshop on how to stay sexually pure, it was interesting, but he was going wicked slow, and kept dragging things on and on and on...like that sentence. Chilled at the stage area, then we decided it was freezing, and since we were leaving ealr yin the am, we should commute back to the campsite.
Left NH around 8, interesting ride back to the Bay State...very interesting ride. Now, I'm just chillin around here.
Overall, it was an awesome week. Good conversations, good music, met some interesting people, saw some interesting things (Bumbper Stickers, Clothing/hair styles, quarreling between groups etc...) and a new mission from God.
I have to make an appointment with someone...to talk more about my new found mission from God. BUT MORE on that later...don't wanna make any announcements just yet!...
Off to shower then errands and stuff before LIFE TEEN and WATER WARS!!!!!!!!!
