(no subject)
Well....to be blatant...I suck at updating huh? We can place the blame on McD's. Since school got out, I've worked 5 days a week. IF you do the math that leaves me with 2 days to myself...when I usually do something for my house (ie mow the lawn, pick up after my siblings etc).
I'm NOT going to go back and describe everything since the last time I updated, so I'll just shoot the breeze (is that what its called?)
Work....I HATE OVERNIGHTS. I think we all know that. It is SO irritating when people are in the store at like 10:45, and I have to work at 11...OR when I let ppl in after 11, and I know I'm there until 7 the next morning, and they can leave whenever they want, and go hang out with each other. GRRRR. I really hope Anderson does become an overnight manager, so that way he can do a majority of the overnights. I don't mind one here or there (like 1...2 MAX a month...but ths week I have TWO!)
Lately, the only good thing about work is the people I work with. I've found myself hanging out with them alot more than I have in the past. I mean, there's always been a couple I talk to outside work, but now I feel like I hang out with them. A new kid said "WOW, everyone here is like friends...I didn't know u hung out with..." I was like.."I don't, last night was the 1st time!" Oh well...I'm not gonna complain alot about it.
SINCE its memorial day weekend, IC didn't have LIFE TEEN. SOOOOOO me, anna, juli and katie went to LIFE TEEN in Foxboro. IT WAS AWESOME. They don't have Core members welcoming people as you come in, or giving out song sheets, but at the altar, EVERYONE made us feel welcome..They introduced us as the "Stoughton LIFETEEN group", it was cool. We stayed afterwards. Anna and I might be going to WYD 2005 with them since our church doesn't want to go.
One thing about IC Life teen that REALLY bugs me, is that on certain days, they cancel Mass. (ie Superbowl...) what kinds of message does that send to the kids? That a game is more important than God? THAT'S CRAP. I think we should do what St. Mary's does and have Mass at like 4pm, then have a Superbowl Party after. But to cancel Mass...is messed up. ALSO...I dont think we should do this, but they have a 5AM Life Teen Mass on Easter Sunday. THAT would be so cool.
After Mass we went to their Life Night. It was a Confirmation party bc two of their teens got confirmed today. Then we (just the Stoughton people) came back to Stoughton, got gas, went to McD's so anna could pee, went to friendly's to get ice cream, then watched Finding Nemo at my house. I love move, ESPECIALLY dorie! (sp?)...
OK, to get all weird (haha...more weird I should say)...I feel like this summer so far, I haven't had alot of friends. I mean, I have seen Sarah and Age, and I see Anna all the time, but where are the Chrissy Hrenkos, Rachelle Hess', Erica Richardis etc... of my life? I haven't even seen or talked to Kev in like years it seems. He described it perfect when he said that sometimes a Kev's life sucks because you lack "self kev and other kev". I couldn't have said it better myself. I hope this summer I get a chance to hang out with people, if not alot, then at least once.
I don't know what else to say really except that I have to work at 11 TONIGHT, so WHY go to bed now, if I should sleep all day to be rested for work?
