(no subject)
today ended up being more low key than i was expecting. i did get to hang out with zee all day which was all kinds of win. she wore a very pretty dress and looked beautiful in it. i like my girlfriend.
woke up earlier than it seemed like i should and played some poker. then zee picked up lex and we got breakfast at the curve. somewhere along the line it slipped my mind that i was to compete in an eating contest later and i downed 4 gigantic pieces of french toast.
so by the time i got to mack's to see how many eggs i could eat i really wasn't feeling very hungry. also i'm not the biggest hard boiled egg fan. i still ate five of them. we left fairly early after severa came over and came back to the house to watch a movie. i really feel like i let the people down here.
we watched bombay talkie. i got it because two of my favorite songs from the darjeeling limited soundtrack came from the movie. the movie was pretty bad. the main female lead was totally unsympathetic and awful. they didn't even use the entire song of "typewriter tip tip tip". there was a pretty sweet set for the song with a gigantic typewriter to be danced on with giant bouncy keys. they really should have given it more screen time because the rest of the movie sucked that bad. the music was at least entertaining. some of the costumes were hilarious.
the movie taught us that even if you are american, old, kinda ugly and annoying, you can still steal hot indian actors away from their smoking hot wives. in the end they will figure out they fucked up really badly only to get stabbed to death by some other dude who is inexplicably attracted to said old, ugly, annoying amercians.
then we went out for sushi at miramoto with severa, tflo and john latel. delicious as usual. came back to the house and watched some batman: the animated series which zee seems to love. sleep.
