we just got here. its about 7 hours after expected. it was snowing in madison and chicago and both our flights got delayed. first we had to change our connecting flight from brussels to frankfurt. then we even showed up too late for that connecting flight. ugh. it was a really long trip. on the bright side we got 3 drafts in during the trip.
we had a nice large group go from madison. its me, sam black, matt severa, mike hron, and dustin stern. we've been drafting pretty solidly for the last week and seem to be getting a pretty good idea what the format is all about. we met azrael spear as soon as we got off the plane. he was supposed to be on our overseas flight, but we ended up not making that one.
ended up getting some fairly spacious rooms at the hotel phoenix. good omen? you decide.
