I feel your racing heart. My liquid silver arms extended, these waves aren't far apart. Black gold in claw-foot tubs unchanging; I am fire, where's my form? Whisper crimson, I intrude. There's light beneath your eyes, new overtones in view. Endless form, endless time. If what they say is true, you are a shadow in the fourth dimension. To ( Read more... )

I could list those endearing qualities if you'd like.

And send me on an all-expense-paid trip to egomania? ... Maybe. Whatever floats your boat.

Come now, Boris! If anyone deserves it, you do!

Well... if you must, but just know you will be drowning in compliments in return and I might be a little too flustered to even think of throwing you a lifesaver.

You know how some people do not see the point of living after one great moment? After a compliment from you, drowning might be not so bad, can it get better? Now, see, you're charming, and intelligent, and Latvian (so ergo every positive adjective in the entire world), and you always have the right words to say to make everythng look lovely, eloquence? And you're elegant, too, and very pretty, and I love, love, love your default.

But, see, if you drowned -- well, think of the state that would leave me in! I would be inconsolable and most likely guilt myself to death, and is guilt even a verb? Anyway. I might not toss you a lifesaver but it is likely I'd have to dive in and fetch you, thank god for knowning how to doggy paddle. Me, eloquent? Charming? Intelligent? You must have knocked your head really hard when your wings were clipped. (Har, har!)

I could never do anything to cause you harm, BK. I promise. I will try to swim just for you. Guilt could nearly be a verb, I imagine, but I am foreign, so do not ask me. You, eloquent, you charming, you brilliantly intelligent and good looking. Oh ho ho, that one was nice, can we just got married now? No one better will come along, not even Eugen Bauder or Owen Steuart can disrupt this harmonious relationship.

You mean you don't know how to swim? I am going to have to teach you one day, then. In a kiddie pool. With floaties. I cannot risk losing you, all right? Don't expect another clever pick-up line for at least a month, I am not so good with them, or stringing coherent words together in general, for that matter. Eugen Bauder and Owen Steuart are nice guys, you never know!

No, I know how to swim. I will try not to drown in your compliments, oh nevermind, nevermind. Can I lie about swimming because now I want to spend time in a kiddie pool with you, with floaties on. You will not lose me unless you ask me to get lost, that is the fact. One a month is enough, I will treasure them all the more. They're nice, but they are, in fact, not you.

Oh, oh, I get it, I get it. The kiddie pool and floaties are doable, don't you fret. Now, if it were winter, that would be a completely different story, unless the pool were indoors. Ah, I'll stop. Here I would say that them not being me would be a really nice quality, but I can already tell anything negative I have to say about myself will fall on deaf ears. Or eyes. You are too good to me, Inguna.
