I'm going to make another attempt at this journal thing. It's been approximately one thousand years since I last wrote and nothing has happened in that time. I'm still a student and have no other plans for a future except for watching supernatural for one last year. I need suggestions for replacement shows for when it's over. It doesn't have to be anything spectacular. It just has to keep me going until the next wonderful show comes along.
Side note: I think I've already watched all the television shows ever created. Maybe I'll just have to start back at the beginning. I'll force myself to watch the painfully awful season 4 and 5 of Angel. WTF was Joss thinking with the Connor story? It pains me to even think about watching all the heart ache again. But I must.
Current thoughts on Supernatural Season 4: This is the best fricken season yet but also the most emotionally painful. Sam and Dean are hardly even brothers anymore which I guess is part of the plot since Dean and Sam are going to be mortal enemies in a few eps. I know the season is going to end with them fighting and Sam being the devil or something. I can't believe how far we have strayed from the first season. They used to be so cute together, making jokes and playing pranks on each other. WHY!!!??? It's sad to see the change in their relationship but also an extremely exciting plot change. If Sam and Dean were happy all the time the show would get boring (although I could watch them doing nothing all day). My only wish is that when the entire series is done they aren't both dead and in Hell. Something good has to come out of this awful situation. Something! I mean the entire show has been nothing but heart ache. Dean has to have one good thing happen to him in his lifetime.
Thoughts on Dollhouse: I was so excited for another Joss series. I was also hesitant on Fox picking it up because they are an evil corporation headed up by Satan. Who the hell would cancel Firefly? Dumb Asses, that's who. Now I feel that if Fox cancels this one they are completely justified. This show is horrible in many dimensions: acting (could echo be killed?), plot (what plot?), music (theme song could have been taken from Buffy in the 90s), etc. I love the premise and will continue to watch in hopes that Joss gets it together. He has yet to let me down so I'm not jumping ship yet.
