4th of July weekend
My weekend was soo awesome. It started friday when my flight was delayed 2 hrs!!! It was supposed to departure at 5 pm but due to the rain ... I ended up leaving at 7:30!!!! And it was my dads Bday. SO i arrived like around 10:30 pm!!! We wanted to take my dad to eat but we were all to tired so we ended up cutting him a cake in my uncle's house and we went to sleep like at 2 am.
Then Sat. I was supposed to go to Boston to see another that I havent seen in 10 yrs but we didnt really have time so instead we went to Coney Island and I rode the Cyclone which happens to be a reeeeally old roller coaster.It was pretty cool. Then later we went to Fulton St. Mall and Chinatown.
Then on Sunday my uncle took me to Bear Mountain upstate and since NY is hot right now ... we went inside the pool and then we went canoeing and I got sunburn. It was cool.
Then finally Mon. we did some last minute shopping and then we headed over to The fireworks show. They closed down an expressway so that NYkers can view the fireworks show at a closer view and we were right next to the seaport on the expressway. We were like the first one's there but it quickly got filled with the multitudes. Finally at 9:30 the show started and it was soooo beautiful. It was AWEsome!!! Besides all the smoke..... it was soo magical. The fireworks show was such a good way of saying bye to my beautiful NY.
And so today I woke up at 4 am to catch my flight and I said bye to my dad. I was sad but held it in pretty well. I surprised i didnt cry (cause i usually do when he plane takes off) but this time I didnt because I was too tired to think so I just went straight to sleep. I know im gonna miss my dad, NY and all my family this entire week but hopefully I can go back soon. This weekend was just so perfect. I want to go to sleep!!! As soon as Im done working... Im heading straight to my bed.
