What Ever Happened to that Girl?
The week is officially half over. Tuesday has come and gone, and I'm feeling terribly accomplished. I did 6 straight hours of homework on sunday afternoon/evening all for my English class. It was ridiculous... but I got it done, so Sunday night was a good night of sleep... except that it was sleep all alone - which after a weekend sleeping next to Jason, was not ideal.
I had my first stats test last Thursday - and we got them back Monday. I got a 48 out of 50, but the one I got wrong... I talked to him about after class, and it turns out, he's going to give the whole class credit for it. SO - yes - that's 100% on my first exam of the year. Seems like a decent start if you ask me... and today... I even started homework that's not due for TWO days. This is a NEW Becca Kimble, Ladies and Gentlemen.
Speaking of being new... there really isn't much that IS new. But REALLY - what IS new this week?
-CSI on Thursday is BRAND spankin new. YESSSSSS!
-Desperate Housewives is ALSO new on Sunday. YESSSSSSS again!
-My Parents and Thomas are coming to visit me on Saturday sometime after Thom's XC meet which is in Linden. I hope we get to do some kind of shopping. I need bread, cheese, and new brown shoes.
-My black belt broke today... that's DEFINITELY new.
-I figured out how to make it so my music shows on MSN messenger... and Jason figured it out at the SAME time.
-I bought and watched The Upside of Anger. It's SO good... but DEFINITELY a chick flick. I'm happy I watched it by myself.
-I'm really happy with ME right now. I'm comfortable in my skin... I smile a lot and listen to my music as loud as I want. I walk around campus 80% of the day wishing I was in my bed... but I'm happy. Jason is the love of my life and ACTUALLY as of today, we've been together 15 months. For the MOST part. :0) All is well... and I'm better because of it.
-I watch PrisonBreak on Fox - at 9 on Mondays with Lisa. It's a GREAT show. Something new to be addicted to! yay!
-I watched House today too... it was a VERY good episode.
-There are some FABULOUS movies coming out this year. I recommend that you check out the trailers for Aeon Flux, the Davinci Code, and Saw II. I'm anticipating them all. I've never READ the Davinci Code - but I've never read Harry Potter either. I dig movies FOR that reason.

It's really hard to tell what's on my mind ALL the time isn't it? Yeah I know... I'm simply a romantic person. That's all that can be said.
There are a lot of people that are already looking forward to Summer. I'm not one of them. I want Halloween time... with Uncle John's Cider Mill, Pumpkins, Candy Corn, Cider, and Really Hot pictures next to corn... I want crisp but COMFORTABLE football weather... I want to wear my winter hats without looking stupid. Too bad tomorrow's supposed to be eighty-fricken-five degrees outside. UGH to that.
Melanie C has been awesome to listen to lately. Along with Toby Lightman. You know it's strange... today I was listening to Toby, and I felt like I was in my room in 241 (last year), and that the leaves were falling off the trees... because that's when I TOTALLY overplayed her last year. And THEN, I was listening to Melanie C - Here and Now - and i swear I felt like if I walked outside it would be a rigid snowy day... where the air almost burns your lungs because it's so fresh. That was my favorite song right around when my grandma passed away... it was cold like that then. And Sweet Pea handsoap reminds me of my shit hole dorm freshman year during football season. I had soap like that then... I love stuff like that.
So I think I'll go hang around facebook for a while until Jason comes back from Hall Council. I'm so tired...
