(no subject)
Anyone who has yet to purchase the new Backstreet Boys album must do so IMMEDIATELY. It is awesome. Just ask Jim! I made him a fan- its great!
I've had an interesting couple of days..I have been working sooo much (Ok well perhaps I may have called in to St John's twice this week, but that is besides the point). Traci called me on Monday and told me that she got passes to go to a BSB Listening Party in the city on Tuesday...*cue shrieking* So I may or may not have skipped work and gone into the city with Traci to that. It was soooo much fun. I had a wonderful time...saw the Boys, heard a few songs, got a Teen People gift bag...lovely!
On Wednesday I nursed Jim back to health..he sprained his knee playing soccer the night before so I called in to work and carried the kid around. lol Just kidding. I just took him on a few errands and cleaned his ranky apartment. Yes, I even did the toilets (Thank God for gloves!!!!!!!)
Anyway, after all that cleaning and then working that evening I guess I was exhausted so I went to bed at like 10pm. Kinda sad!!!
Thursday I worked at St John's...did nothing, OF COURSE. Chris called though and told me to come to New Hope to hang out so after taking my midterm I headed out there. OH. MY. GOD. I don't recommend taking that route before/during rush hour. It took me like 3 hours to get there, when it usually takes just about an hour and a half. I kept myself entertained by calling people and of course BLASTING the new BSB album. I'm so cool!!!
So after my exhausting drive I was kind of tired and cranky but Chris managed to keep me entertained and cheered me up a bit. It may have also been the FABULOUS dinner his Dad cooked for us. Ahhh, I finally got the steak I had been talking about. Its about damn time! We went out to some bar later on where one of Chris' friends sisters boyfriend (I think that is the relationship..I may be confused) was playing. They were REALLY good. I had a really good time...had some rum and cokes...yeah they were a bit strong. Phew. Where is a good margarita when you need it??? I ended up staying over and finally got to sleep late..it was like the first time all month. Lovely!!! As soon as we woke up we got recruited by Chris' mom to help set up for a surprise party for his dad. I'm so domestic now, its great. Helping get ready was way more fun than it sounds..I think it might be because I convinced Chris to push me around while I rode on the front of the shopping cart at the food store...I'm such a little kid ha. The party was a lot of fun..finally got to try Chris' famous Korean chicken and ate entirely too much. There goes the damn diet. Back to the fat jeans!!! We ended up hanging out with some of his friends until around 4:30am...yikes! I was going to leave then to come home (I had work at 9am!) but was convinced that I needed at least a little bit of sleep before attempting the hour and a half drive. I'm soooo tired..but its ok. Plus I'm really stuffy- I think it is from sitting too close to the fire and inhaling the smoke. Thats my bad, I HAD to poke around the fire didn't I? I will never learn.
I can't wait to go home and sleeeeeep.
