(no subject)
My birthday is TOMORROW!
Ah, I love sitting in the other office at work. No one is in here, it is delightful. Of course I have nothing to do either. My computer in the other room is being used so I hit up here.
I had such a fabulous weekend!!! It started early..Jim and I went to Zum Schneider in the city (fun German Beer Garden!) to meet up with Matt and Sloppy Mike (Ha I just had to throw that in there...he's not really sloppy). The beers there were MASSIVE..well you had a choice of what size but I was handed a drink that was way bigger than anything I have seen before. It was about the size of a pitcher. Yeah. So we had a couple drinks (well I had one, Jim had like 47)...good times. Matt is wonderful, I'm definitely a fan! (Tell him he's cute Jim). Hopefully he'll be back here next weekend..if so we're going to Fire Island for the weekend...fun fun!
Did I mention my birthday is tomorrow?
Friday was just a relaxing day (no work!)...Ate chinese food and watched the Tivo'd Season Finale of "CSI". Did anyone watch that? How creepy yet awesome was that? I enjoyed it (but had nightmares).
Saturday was AWESOME...Kelly Clarkson in Central Park! She was AMAZING. That girl sure can sing. We met up with Dana and some of her friends..it was a lot of fun. Got a lot of free beauty products (I'm sure the red nail polish will look great on Jimmy!)..it was soo nice out too. It was supposed to rain but it held off until later. We got a nice walk through NYC too which was pretty cool. After that we went down the shore to hit up a family party. Yeah, we were the youngest people there by about 30 years, so what? lol. I had a good time! Then since it was my cousin Billy's birthday, his sister Liz and some friends were throwing him a surprise party at a bar in Hoboken....Yep we went there too (Ok not for long but we still made an appearance). Jim was trying to get in touch with his new roomie Kim or her friends Allison but we couldn't so we went to his new apartment. (Sooo nice, with the exception of it looking like a hurricane went through it! That will change). After like 5 mins Allison shoed up, wasted...talking about her freakishly warm hands (don't ask), Kim soon came home and we made White Russians..with ice cream? It was bizarre to say the least, but still fun.
Anyway, Sunday Jim and I went out to breakfast with Kim and Allison *Side note: I got this REALLY nasty oatmeal..don't order it from sketchy diners* and then we went back to Brooklyn. Tried to convince Mag to hang out (to cheer her up!) but she was in a stinky mood and I don't blame her. Boys are crappy. I love you Mag!!! Watched a little tv..gotta love Grey's Anatomy. That about sums up the weekend. Way fun. Oh, I can't forget to give Jeff a little shoutout for liking the hair AND getting the twizzlers. He rocks!
So once again, my birthday is tomorrow! I'm going to class tonight (boo classes start today :( ) and then Mom is taking me out to dinner for my bday since Jim is taking me out tomorrow! Then Wednesday we're going to see Mama Mia!!!! What more could a girl ask for?
