YEARGH
I finally started organizing all my cosplay crap tonight. I bought a bead case one night last weekend when I kidnapped Michael, and then I went again tonight cuz I entirely forgot I needed something to hold all my thread and bobbins in a semi-non-chaotic fashion. I have a lot less thread than I initially thought...some of it's as old as my cosplay habit since I still have the gold thread from my Dilandau costume, which was my second year XD
Throwing away a lot of stuff now too since a lot of it is useless to me these days. Tiny glue sticks that go to a gun I lost years ago, thread that's gumed up from glue that's leaked in the case, broken bobbins and bent needles. All sorts of stuff. I trashed a whole crapload of old fabric too since I don't think I'll be needing to stained remnants of Sizer 1.0 and 2.0, or the dissected Hamel gloves (which were in the fabric box for some reason) and a ton of other material that otherwise would've never seen the light of day.
I tossed a few more costumes to the wind too this past weekend...Hamel's officially gone now, as is CV Alucard and my original Orgy coat. I wanna redo the coat with the material Gret and Val used anyway. That stuff is so effing molestable. MOLESTABLE. I'm also 10x better at what I'm doing now than I was back in like 2002 when I made that first coat...hopefully this next attempt won't give me a giant third boob on top of the two I already have. Yes.
Got a bunch of stuff to finish off Shermie tonight too, so probably tomorrow after work I'll start cutting out the piece I need to make that one. I really want to get a Dress Form though before I do anymore costumes so I may put it all off entirely till I buy one and get it. Catharina is gonna get made after Shermie, Sora's getting finished after Catharina, and Abel 2.0 will be done after all that.
