I'm still here
Wow, It's been a while, huh? I'll stil keep this brief.
¶ Work has been hectic. Tax season officially ends this week, but with client extensions, I'll probably be busy for another month with tax returns. I'm determined to be as productive as possible, though, to get through that and switch back to the daily tasks I enjoy.
¶ Spring sports have started or will start soon. I've started tracking local high school baseball and girls soccer. That's not too bad, but it seems that each year, fewer scores get reported to the media or the state association's web site. That's a shame. Plus, I wonder if officiating more means I should--or need--to give it up. We'll see what happens, I suppose.
Kickball starts in two weeks. Although we have some personnel changes again (our fastest player plans to enlist in the military), i think we'll have fun. Our spring season shold be interesting. Besides the team we beat last summer in the finals, there's three more unfamiliar teams. I can only hope they're competitive so we're challenged.
¶ I've been writing more lately with mixed success. My private writing has gone smoothly now that I resumed it. My FFn writing either goes well or not at all depening on the story and my creativity. Perhaps that will improve over the summer.
I'll try to post more soon. It's obvious I don't write weekly any more, but perhaps twice a month might be better. It's not like too many people read this any more, anyways.
