How are you today? Lonely, chubby, and my laptop is broken. Only 1/3 is covered by a service plan

As you may have noticed... over the last 5 days I have been M.I.A. Well its not because I've found a hot Swedish girlfriend. Nor have I won the lottery, although that hasn't been for a lack of trying. And I haven't had an exciting social life of working, drinking, and partying.

Nopes.

My laptop broke. Only had it sense may...and it broke. I know... what are the friggin chances?

How do I know it's broke? Well when I turn it one it says: "Smart Drive Has Dectected an Intiment Hard Drive Failure Whoa Nelly Are you Fucked BJ."

I know... a little harsh. Nevertheless, true.

However not all is lost. In fact I lost no data. Be it I am quite paranoid about things like this, I make it a habit of backing up important files. But alas, I do not back up my music. So with alittle computer motivation I managed to boot my computer up into "safe mode." From there I burned all of my music onto discs and deleted a sensitive files. (Bank numbers, plans to invade Poland.)

However... it was just around this time that my computer COMPLETELY clunked out on me. I wanted to reformat the entire drive. Be it defective and my files deleted, I was still concerned that someone could extract that data. However... my resident tech expert Chester says that the drive is so messed up that someone would REALLY want to find stuff out to go through all that trouble to get delete files out of a busted hard drive. They'd really just be better served breaking in when the hardrive was working.

So this is where I stand with my laptop. It has a busted hard drive that is covered under my warrenty...but it will be 1 to 3 buisness days before they send a box out to get it fixed. Be it Martin Luther King Day tomorrow...that means Wednesday to Friday before I can send it out to be fixed. Which means sometime next week before it can be fixed. And I've had this problem since Thursday. Sigh.

Someone asked me how I was today I answered with the title of this post.

On an upnote... I did meet with some fellow improv people on Friday. They were all very kewl and very nice to me. I don't like meeting new people, mainly because I don't know what to say. But it all turned out pretty well. I'm going to see them all again on Tuesday and hopefully a few more people I contacted will be able to make it.

Check out the pic.

Well wish me luck with my computer issues. Take care and I hope everyone is having better luck overall than I am as of late.
