Story Focus: Lia and Thera were known for coming up with a way to protect what remained of the Shaladoran people and later the Queen and the Black Widow took care of and protected Dena Nehele. Several years later, another Queen of Dena Nehele finds Lia's journal and the last entry is from Thera, noting that Lia had died. In trying to find answers about her own path, this Queen discovers a patch of Witchblood... in the place where Thera died a violent death. What happened to Lia and Thera -- and how did they die?

However, a call for help and an interrupted battle bring him in contact with a Queen fighting to protect her Jewels and her life.
