hi björkish people

i just came across samorost again, this cute little game that i think someone shared about here ages ago (not sure but i *think*) because it was somehow "björkish" in it's feel.
and then i came across this here:

I already knew about Under Byen, i found out about them the same was that you did, about 2 years ago! : ) I was similarly entranced and i thought also that she sounds a lot like bjork!

I have some songs by them that friends have dug up for me, and also their album " Der et mig der holder traerne sammen" which is great, find it if you can! Is there a way i can share it online? Rapidshare? Never used it... if someone can help me through it i will share... =)

i will be trying to find one of their cd's to buy. ah it seems cdwow has their latest "Samme Stof Som Stof", think i will order that along with my next order from them :)

cool that you have a cd by them!
as i'm here in south sweden, maybe i can find a local store that has their cd's, so i'll be looking!

Oh, yes, Under Byen, of course. :-) It does resemble Björk in some aspects of her singing, but I like to believe it's a completely different kind of thing... I mean, I totally don't get put off by it and I don't go around hating the band cause it tries to "copy" Björk (wow, those two words CAN'T even stand next to each other), but I quite like their music. And I've found out about them long ago, totally unrelated to Björk, but I guess, more the fact that they are from Danmark. :-)

But you should totally check them out, really nice!

haha i agree with you.
first i thought "wow it's björk, what song is that", then "ah no it's not, why is the singer copying her exact singing style" but then it's mostly just this song that sounds very much like her, from what i've heard of them up to now. i guess she has the same kind of singing voice somehow. and i do think the music style is different.
well anyway, cool that you know them too, i thought of you somehow when i found them, danmark and their name "under byen" and "björkish music" :)
