Among a collection of amusing, classic, and unusual stories read througout the duration of my life, especially my younger childhood, was the book The Little Prince. I read this story a long time ago. I thought it was good, and I didn't understand it at all.
Of course, I didn't know that I hadn't understood it until I idly plucked it off of the shelf yesterday and proceeded to reread. And I realized that this book was much more unique and special, and deep, than I had seen it to be when I had read it years ago.
And so, even though it is a book supposedly written for children, and even though I think children are bound to enjoy and appreciate it for a number of reasons, I've concluded that every person should read this book at least twice in their lives.
And so, if you haven't read it, then for goodness' sake, do so! And if you have read it, read it once more. You can even get it in Spanish and French, if that would make your Little Prince experience even more enjoyable. But in any case, I hereby put it on the list of Books Worth Reading.
