Help me out!

A few weeks ago, when we were still talking about the Genies and various other things, we heard that Paul had been nominated for a few other awards as well. One in particular was due to be awarded on his birthday, but I can't find what on earth this was. I think he's up for a Writer's Guild Award (as well as Martha!) and these are due to be given ( Read more... )

Ooh lovely, thank you. I had completely forgotten about that one in the face of the Hour video!

So, NBC Universal Award of Distinction - June 8th in Banff.

Okay, my eyes are sore from the TOtC pic.

I still maintain that I'm the only one in the known universe who doesn't like the Elm Street pictures. What is wrong with me?

OTOH, the last one? Makes me exponentially happy. :D

At least Elm Street didn't airbrush the photos so that he looked possessed, so I count my blessings in that area. Actually, and this admission may be sacrilige, I'm a lot less fond of photo-shoots than I am of candid photos of him. He looks as uncomfortable as fuck in photo shoots, but a fine example of his good self is that final photo - natural, unrehearsed and relaxed.

That ToTC photo looks like a recent Bjohan family photo - we're all kinda stuck in about 1975.

My other observation about that picspam is that I find him a damn sight more attractive now than I did in his DS days. He seems more...him now, if that makes sense.

This is very true.

Oh, absolutely. This is sacrilege? Not even close.

That's one of my favourite photos of Paul, ever.

I'm definitely stuck in the '70s with some things, but not with clothes. I don't know what you'd call my wardrobe. Early thrift shop?

I was just thinking about this, and I agree with you, although I think he probably was in his best physical shape then. That top picture, I love it, but to me it's not a picture of Paul, it's a picture ( ... )

Ah see, I like Fraser as a character and I think Paul played him absolutely flawlessly but I didn't particularly find him attactive. Yes, in a "Christ Almighty, he's good looking" but not in a "please take me to bed right now, I'll even pay you" way which Geoffrey and the glimpses of realPaul we see, do to me. Seeing pics of Paul-as-Fraser don't interest me half as much as recent pictures of him do. In many ways, I think he's grown even more into his looks which sounds an impossible feat, but he seems to have achieved it. Bastard.

Still different strokes for different folks -I'm reading the thread at Nos's LJ and sitting here unable to comprehend many of the comments there!

One of my favourite photos - I love happy Paul:
