Anyone remember when he was assassinated about a year ago? A 72 year old man, according to initial reports he was shot through the head while in his home by an FBI sniper and abulances were prevented from approaching the perimeter for the next hour and half, just to make sure he was dead. Of course, it never really was front page news. After all, most Americans care more about who the finalists for American Idol are than they do about the fact that there's a Puerto Rican independence movement. Hell, I'm sure most of them don't even realize that Puerto Rico is a territory of the US, especially considering their answers to these questions:

Either way, the FBI was cleared of all wrongdoing, despite the fact that it admitted that it knew of ways to arrest him without using force. Their claim was that he had fired at them first -- it would be perfectly true if by "fired" they mean "walked to the window to see why there are attack choppers outside."

Meh, I'm still waiting for the day that it'll be legal for me to smack people upside the head whenever I think they deserve it.
